I would like to articulate one of the BIGGEST misconceptions about cat breed genetics by talking about the NEBELUNG! An extremely rare breed with only SIX(6) in the whole US, and no breeders, yet one that thousands of folk online are convinced they own. Your cat is NOT any breed, and that's okay.

A TICA registered Nebelung cat. They are extremely rare and very close to extinction. The breed was never popular, but since it's the only pure bred long coated gray cat, most folk assume all long coated gray cats are nebelungs.

Several Facebook nebelung cat groups ranging from 6-15 THOUSAND members. It also has a post by a moderator actively dismissing any scientific post calling out that the cats are NOT Nebelungs.

This is a separate topic, but when I see these print walls at con and show ends and they fold it into a suitcase and are gone in 35 minutes, while I take hours to set up and take down what's essentially a pop-up shop, I regret my choices. Only a little, though.

Slowly regaining some energy after EF (which was great, but exhausting) and getting things in order. 10 of the 20 limited A2 prints were sold (or gifted) at EF, so that's a total of 50€ for charity, plus a little extra 😊

My final piece for the artshow! Inspired by a dress I made recently, I really wanted to make a painting inspired by the Regency era and Romanticism art movement c: Fingers crossed my prints will arrive on time, and I'm already excited to make more paintings x3

The fourth piece in my artshow lineup this year! I really wanted to make something with a red panda, and during my doodling ideas of them, I finally decided I wanted to make something with both the OG panda and the giant panda c: Now then, back to con prep <3 Stay tuned!

Another artshow piece! I've been itching to draw more hyenas, and this piece really made me fall in love with the tiny but mighty aardwolf <3 This piece was an interesting challenge, and I'm very eager to see how the prints turned out!

Second piece for the EF30 artshow! This innocent little kittie has -no- idea how all those plants ended up on the ground! Had a lot of fun painting those houseplants - basically all of them are plants I've either owned or still own c: Painted on my new Canson Montval watercolour pad c:

It’s a common misconception that ADHD is just an inability to focus. Really, it’s a struggle to control focus. I can hyperfixate for hours on complex but pointless tasks and freeze on simple tasks. Some days, my brain’s a Lamborghini with no brakes. Other days, a rusty bike with a stuck chain.

More reasons to include alt text: + Trouble reading certain fonts + Limited image resolution blurring tiny details + It's searchable, so you (or others) can find the image again more easily in the future! Here's a guide to writing alt text, which you can find by searching "alt text capybara"
