Ethics approved for the co-production part of our project! We'll be co-producing three videos with parents/carers of children and young people with ARFID to provide support to these groups as part of a video-based intervention. Then, hopefully, we'll do an early pilot to see if it's effective :)

A very important theme for EDAW 2027! Hopefully findings from our project on support for parents of CYP with ARFID will coincide and we can share some resources related to the need for neuro-affirming care.

I really enjoyed #CADS2026 last week! So many fascinating presentations on how we can analyse large datasets of discourse with corpus methods! I presented our analysis conducted for @proacteuresponse.bsky.social, which looked at the ways users discussed clinical trial studies during the pandemic.

Short-form book proposal goes to the board in the next week. Fingers crossed. This would be my first go at writing up thoughts on Starmer’s Labour after my CADS presentation. It would also foreground my thoughts on working on timely political questions, which I didn’t get chance to talk about.
