Also, tracing! Biggest boost to my confidence and skill was when I asked a friend to trace his work. Obviously either get permission and give credit when posting. Dont pass off other people’s work as your own. But for learning, tracing art still builds confidence and muscle memory

Also Arch, in addition to instability, is considered more advanced. Doing a good bit in the console, particularly with bug fixes.

Ima be honest, A: I have a beast of a rig so I don’t notice much performance difference and B: I tried Bazzite for like one evening, got frustrated with I think a mod manager, and jumped ship And also I just don’t know enough of stuff under the hood to know which OS performs better.

I use it for gaming mostly, far as I can tell it’s general purpose. I hopped distros a few times just to get the features I wanted Thing is its Arch based so rolling release means instability sometimes. Still, I quite like it.

Switched to CachyOS and while I’m getting intermittent bugs to squash (and most recently a release causing black screen on boot), it runs damn well. (Also even with the black screen, it’s easy to go to a previous snapshot and wait for a fix)

Some inside basball for people who like statistics Date to Die For was 94% positive on steam by ~2 to 3 weeks after launch. And it stayed there for two. years. That 94% has haunted me like the Tell Tale Heart. I know its just a label for a 1% increase, but feels good, man. Feels good.

I like to think, in headcanon, that dragons are like big cats in many ways. That includes big morning stretches! Another lovely piece done by @arven.bsky.social !

I remember playing The Division yeaaaaars ago and in the late game the numbers just. Stop making sense (Specifically currency because they didn’t use commas so I couldn’t tell at a glance if something was a million or 10 million or something, but same applies to damage)
