Project Hail Mary is a beautiful movie adaptation of a great book. I wasn’t sure they could match The Martian in capturing the vibe of Weir’s science-forward writing while properly pacing the scenes. They did. I’ll be shocked if Ryan and the Rocketeers and the wardrobe team don’t win big.

#ClaudeAI has a serious feature gap for ChatGPT converts: the ability to refer back to previous conversations. I'm working to migrate away from ChatGPT, but I have a ton of long-running personal projects (home repair, automation, art, personal web sites, etc.) that each span multiple conversations.

IMHO, #Block is doing it wrong. Companies should not be chopping dev staff or expecting AI to immediately drive down cost. Instead, they should wait and see which devs use LLMs to generate production-ready, coherent code/artifacts that improve internal bottlenecks and user experience.

I just finished my full rewatch of Star Trek #DS9 and I’m sad. What a show! I probably missed half of the episodes when they originally aired due to college/life and lack of a good UHF antenna in my dorm, so for many episodes it was a first watch. Onward to Voyager! #startrek
