A runner has to begin loop 4 by the 36 hour mark in order to continue. Neither Damian nor Sébastien will finish loop 3 in time to begin loop 4; however, if they complete loop 3 within 40 hours they will be credited with a Fun Run. #BM100

I must have dozed off or something, but somehow I missed Max King dropping a couple hours ago, after making it to book 4 on loop 3. Two runners remain on loop 3; 1 remains on loop 1. #BM100

Good news for our #bm100 front runners: Of all Barkley runs that had a split between 22 and 23 hours for loop 2, 82% are successful fun runs. Though none of them finished loop 4 and only 27% were even allowed to attempt it.

Big stretch but interesting theory per @anna-propriate.bsky.social: Ashley Harris crewed for someone last year, only described them as page number 11. Now she's back so maybe the same runner is back? Dena Carr for example was in last year and follows her on instagram but that's hardly proof

That statistic is slightly misleading to make this year seem more extraordinary. A better way to think of the average is that almost exactly one third of loop 1 finishers go on to finish loop 2. Which means that today's 4 of 12 is actually completely normal and loop 1 is to blame. #bm100
