Was sending someone the manuscript for the book I wrote a while back and realized I left this in. Hey that's why it's called a draft

DEHUMANIZE YOURSELF AND FACE TO BLOODSHED. In the city of disaster, it's the only way to survive. One of the earliest cyberpunk/post apocalyptic RPGs I've come across, and still one with peak 80s anime OVA rule of cool vibes. 📺: The Screamer, Magical Zoo, 1984 (PC-8801)

A crt monitor photo of a character introduction for a blonde female with a mane of hair under a Jo-Jo like peaked cap and the collar of a trenchcoat peeking up .

The basic premise of a city overrun by a biological computer's horrors is laid out.

I've noticed a shift in the last two-ish years of people saying "human being" over "person." I.e. interviews where someone says "They're an amazing human being." It feels kind of odd and clunky and I'm not sure where it comes from.

from 2001. no one’s doing product testimonials like this anymore. t.co/PEswCtbEZz

Toyota's unease at being associated with the Taliban and Al Qaeda is evident. In its September statement, the company said,
'Toyota does not have a sales or distribution channel in Afghanistan, and we do not export vehicles to that country."
Somewhat less laconic was Wade Hoyt, Toyota's spokesman in New York, who put the best corporate spin on the situation this week.
"It is not our proudest product placement," he said. "But it shows that the Taliban are looking for the same qualities as any truck buyer: durability and reliability."

Saturation is a little cranked, shadows and highlights are more extreme, everything's a little too sharp. The grain occurs when exposure is too high. A lot of artifacts of 2000s digital cameras not being super well-tuned for "cinematic" quality that makes most phone cameras flat and neutral.

One of Primetime's most interesting visual choices is the subtle grain on everything. I think it's emulating the fact that, by the 2000's, television was being shot digitally, but people were still watching it on analog CRTs. Also it's pillar-boxed which doesn't come across in screenshots either

An AI engineer with round glasses says "we figured out that in order to get the A.I. to make more human-like art, it needs to draw from a set of personal emotional experiences..." He holds up a tablet displaying a program entitled "C-PTSD-GPT" and says "so we gave an A.I. the memory of having divorced parents." He gives it to an engineer with square glases who sees that it has generated art of a sitting childlike figure flanked by two arguing, monstrous dinosaur-like skulls. He comments "Wooooah... this is DARK." Round glasses replies "you think that's good? Wait until you see the one we molested!"

The reason all these AI companies are pushing a narrative that it's going to destroy the world is because it's a fantasy problem with no timeline that can't be legislated, unlike the very immediate threats it poses right now (surveillance, misinfo, CSAM, environmental damage) which can be legislated

All of the premium titles were made by 3rd party studios as part of the Riot Forge initiative (which they ended a while back). All of Riot's in-house games to now have been F2P. They popularized the model and it was kind of assumed all their games would use it
