Toxicity is a real issue. Totally get it. We need tools to at least clean up our own chat timelines and mute accounts we don’t want to interact with. Crossing my fingers that you find a group of players who are chilled. (At least that’s what works for me because I only need to interact with them.)

So #StarCitizen just updated some lore with some VERY spicy details. Turns out the Hathor Group, the company that was given the system known today as Nexus and royally messed up, handing it over to criminals, had their last gasp in Stanton of all places. This led me to an interesting revelation

Star Citizen Galactipedia on Hathor Group:
The Hathor Group was a Human inter-planetary mining concern that employed harsh, environmentally catastrophic techniques that left otherwise inhabitable planets desolate in the company's wake. It purchased the Nexus system from the United Nations of Earth (UNE) in SEY 2468, strip mining the surface of Lago (Nexus IV) and ignoring burgeoning criminal activity in the system. Following a run of bad investments and failed claims, the company invested the last of their funds into a mine in the recently discovered Stanton System in 2853. However, due to some unforeseen difficulties, they were forced to cease operations and the Hathor Group was formally dissolved in 2864.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers. This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder. Auschwitz took time.

Trump has deployed active military to help round up migrants and put them into detention camps. The military forced us out of our homes at gunpoint in 1942 because we were considered possibly disloyal Americans. They sent us to internment camps for four years. History is repeating. Pay attention.
