Yes ANOTHER iteration of the retro entertainment area. I decided the low down unit wasn't working for me so we've gone tall instead. The DVDs need some work, but I'll probably end up getting a proper bookcase for another part of the room anyway.

Well that's a first. Let's keep it growing I guess 👀

I was going to say something about snapping back to reality on this Monday morning but you know what? THIS is reality. Good friends, silly moments, smiles, and a lot of Red Bull #DHBirmingham #DreamHack

I probably speak for the majority of Dreamhack attendees regarding Kick streamers harassing MegaCon attendees, we don't want them here either 🫠

Revived my PSP recently and been enjoying playing Burnout and Wipeout, but it was time to go next level and pick up a Vita after never owning one Spent a bit of time this morning modding it for Homebrew and… game backups. Plus it turns into a PSP! Amongst other things 👀

Had my second sale on my new Etsy store this week. A custom MiniDisc case and label request for Random Access Memories by Daft Punk www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Mini...

Happy to show off my very first go at making a fully custom MiniDisc label and j card (for a jewel case, arriving soon) Some areas to improve but incredibly happy with this result #TronAres #MiniDisc

Why yes I am recording the podcast I fall asleep to onto MiniDisc so I can listen to the rest of it the next day in a fun way

Ash Grey @ashgrey-uk.bsky.social · 28/09/2025

A new player for the collection plus 19 MiniDiscs. Great Facebook find for £50. Powers on and works perfectly with mains adapter but unfortunately the lip-8 battery is long dead and won’t take charge

Ash Grey @ashgrey-uk.bsky.social · 25/09/2025

Stream background really cooking now 💽📺📻📡

Currently listening to Nishino Kana on a random MiniDisc from an eBay batch. Such a cool way to discover new music. You never know what might be on a second hand disc

Trying out some multi product shots and subtle lighting. Here’s the best out of some testing

My MiniDisc journey continues! This Sony MZ-R37 arrived today. Again sold as untested so I got a decent price, and yet it works! It's so immaculate, incredibly lucky 👏🏻 #MiniDisc #Sony

Ash Grey @ashgrey-uk.bsky.social · 20/09/2025

Happy to report that 10 MiniDiscs arrived today so I could finally test my player. The deck works! As a bonus half the discs had some really great Japanese artists on them too, other half were blank. Cool way to find new music 🎵

Ash Grey @ashgrey-uk.bsky.social · 20/09/2025

It's recordable. Portable. And virtually unshockable. #sony #minidisc

Ash Grey @ashgrey-uk.bsky.social · 18/09/2025

Just picked up a Sony MZ-R37 player/recorder and some minidiscs I'm 36 and somehow never ended up using minidisc in any capacity. Only tape, CD, then into mp3 and iPods. Very excited for this journey 🥰 #minidisc #obsoletesony

Waiting on a bunch of RCA cables and some minidiscs, but the stacks are now in place 🥰

020

Ash Grey @ashgrey-uk.bsky.social · 17/09/2025

The last couple days I've been looking at getting a portable Minidisk player/recorder. Things have escalated. I only want the minidisc deck for recording but the other decks are a great bonus, and only for £50! The search for good portable continues though.

By the power of the PlayStation 1 sound visualiser, I've added a radar scanner to my stream cam background. The other screen is just static for now but working on getting something else on there.

Ohhh yes 😌 Some fine additions to the stream cam background
