Get a password manager. (I usually rec 1Password if you need usability and Bitwarden if you need cheap.) Make the master password long and complex. Then let your password manager generate a random unique password for every site, turn on 2FA if you can, and monitor haveibeenpwned.com for breaches.

So the DNS record for www.usaid.gov has been removed. However, usaid.gov still works and redirects to www.usaid.gov. If you modify your hosts file to point www.usaid.gov to 12.96.42.215 you will find that the site still works. Someone removed one DNS record but forgot about another.
