Dutch firework related news is funny sometimes. The front page had 2 stories. One about the celebrations being a battlefied and the other noted the area I live in was really quiet and nothing happened. Imo the rest of NL needs to learn to responsibly shoot their rockets :P Clearly it can be done!

THREAD. 3 years ago, with no warning, a brilliant orange farm cat wandered over from the draughty barn where he had been living, in rural Cornwall, and decided he wanted to live with us instead. We decided to call him Jim. This is the first photo I took of him, on that night: December 1st, 2022.

As you can see here, right from the very first day he entered our house, Jim found great difficulty in getting settled and making the environment his own.

Over the weekend, my wife's 13-year-old niece stayed with us. And I got an up-close look at how Roblox has turned so many kids into gambling addicts. The niece even admitted as much as she and her friends opened boxes for rare pets that could be sold/traded for more currency to place more bets.

Windows should remove the "picture screen" before the login screen for the pc. I always start typing too early - resulting in an incorrect password. That screen does nothing but steal seconds of my day!

I dreamt that I was in highschool and my teacher hated me so he was deliberately letting a fish that lived in that classroom die. Said fish was swimming against the whiteboard on the wall. It was all super distressing! In the end the fish didn't make it and I started attacking the teacher 1/3

A circle of large menhirs is surrounding an altar table made out of stone. The circle is in a dire state. leeks grow in the surrounding ground and dirt patches are visible - breaking the grass. The top and left-most menhirs have fallen over and are broken at the base. A pool of water surrounds one of the standing menhirs.
