If you think an artist's style looks like AI but you can scroll back through their portfolio and see them doing the same work before 2020, congrats, you're not looking at an AI grifter. You're looking at one of the original victims whose entire style AI stole.

Rarely go on LinkedIn but I just signed in and saw this for when checking my "Search Appearances". I only showed up 3 times but should I be worried?

Screenshot of the "search appearances" analytics on LinkedIn. shows an infographic with 2 horizontal bars. Top bar says, "67% | Military Officer". Bottom bar says, "33% | Product Manager".

The lack of horror movies at the beginning of October is disappointing. This is why I turn to streaming platforms for most of my 31 Days of Horror (and it's more accessible for someone with a chronic illness—not just cost and transportation wise but captions too!).

Need Instagram to have a profile note feature like Discord, so I can put why I blocked an account when someone asks me.

Interesting! Guess it's like Québec and finding which pharmacy offers it.

Have very little hope that the Ford government will order it but I think I'm going to send the Health Minister an email to try. It's either an expected no or unexpected yes.

Instead we still have handwashing and coughing into elbows for airborne viruses, outright dismissal of long covid, normalization of being sick all the time, and zero accountability

The pandemic should have led to clean indoor air, treatments for long covid and related illnesses, next gen vaccines, normalization of masking, mandatory respiratory protection in healthcare, sick leave, and a paradigm shift around what infections do to people

Happy Mahershala Ali is comfortable talking about Blade not happening. Marvel/Feige took a big L. 'Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother' is out soon and I assure you it gives Blade but delivers more than a Marvel movie could ever. It's powerful and emotional. Strongly held back my tears at #TIFF26.

Does anyone know an alternative to CryptPad sheets that is mobile friendly? Really don't want to go back to using Google Sheets.

Considering TIFF just recently ended, I can see a rise. People were hacking and sniffling unmasked again.

This is shocking, considering my #TIFF26 Trailers spreadsheet, but this is the first time in over a decade of attending the festival that didn't go through the entire film list. Was literally winging it for the days I attended...very not Type A of me.

011

There's going to be some random backlog of posts because the last weeks of August to the end of #TIFF26 has been overwhelming for me and I haven't had a chance to catch up myself. But my chronic illness has definitely let me know when to stop.

000

Got free #TIFF26 tickets and gave out free TIFF '26 tickets to strangers on Reddit. Some of them would message me back after watching the film and tell me how much they enjoyed it. I'm glad I could make their day because the festival has become financially inaccessible for many.

Never thought this person in the US I know would back up the stereotype of people in the US thinking the world revolves around them but I should know by now to never say never lol. They really could have done a web search but 🤷🏻‍♀️

Don't get me started on how they're blaming it ONLY on lack of sleep and lack of eating. If you know your immune system is going to be weaken from those factors, wearing a mask reduces further harm from viruses that will weaken it even more.

Synthia @synthiat.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Another TIFF, after COVID-19 started, where people start posting how they're sick after #TIFF26 and still they don't wear a mask. Especially makes no sense to me for those who used to but stopped in the past year. This festival should be the time u do, if you were smart about (p̶u̶b̶l̶i̶c̶) your health 🤷🏻‍♀️

With alt text from the original post this quoted post is quoting from. Glad this is all backfiring on Ed Sheeran. We still need to put blame on Robert Kraft too.

Instagram text post by @beogamusic, which reads:

"We have made the decision to depart as Ed Sheeran's band on the remaining US Loop tour, following the silencing of Macklemore by zionist lobbies.

We are a traditional Irish band who never saw ourselves playing in stadiums of that size and that opportunity is not lost on us. We have been friends with Ed for over 10 years now and will continue to be. We believe in dialogue as a means of progressing the plight of the Palestinian people."

Instagram text post by @beogamusic, which reads:

"As musicians, playing to those crowds every night is the stuff of dreams but to play in venues that silence anyone advocating for a Free Palestine is simply not an option for us.

It's important that everyone knows that the real enemy is the zionist lobby. They have worked tirelessly to silence artists who want to speak freely about a genocide happening before our eyes, for fear of retribution.

Research how much Robert Kraft has done to fight the BDS movement. That will give you a sense of what we've all been up against.

We were there for Macklemore's performance and speech. We fully supported his message, so did most of the audience in Met Life Stadium which terrifies the lobbies. Go back and read the transcript if you're in doubt."

Instagram text post by @beogamusic, which reads:

"We are Irish people who understand colonialism. As founding members of the Irish Artists For Palestine movement, we are committed activists for justice and will continue to be.

This whole episode is once again serving to distract from the real issue, over 1000 Palestinians have been killed since the most recent so-called ceasefire.

Up the workers.

Free Palestine.

BEOGA."

One of the aspects of 9/11 that changed the world forever was the mass normalization at the highest levels, of anti-Muslim sentiment. It predated 9/11, but became systematized after.
