There are few things that words cannot describe. The #Nepal tragedy will be remembered.

We spent years teaching computers to understand us. Now we’re teaching them to act for us. I’m not sure we’re ready for how much responsibility we’re about to give software.

There’s a point where adding features stops making a product better. It just makes the product harder to explain. I think a lot of products cross that point without realizing it.

I think we’re going to see a lot more people become “experts” in things they barely understand. Because the tools have become good enough to hide the gap. Would you call it dishonesty? Or something else?

No wonder you built two unicorns without relying on any tricks. 🙏🏼❤️

The longer I work in marketing, the less I believe in “marketing tricks.” Good positioning can beat a clever campaign. Because if people don’t understand what you’re selling, getting more people to see it doesn’t help much. Done both eventually.

I think AI is making mediocre people look competent and competent people look exceptional.

I don’t admire success. I admire thinking. Success can be bought, inherited, or stumbled into. Clear thinking can’t.

So Messina apparently got a lot of mess to clean!

And then it will eventually kill you

Customers are the potential buyers basically and making something potential is the only way to trigger the buying mode. Artificial crisis is today’s reality. All the things they could live without they need it now only because of the demand.

You see, information is not free and sometimes hard to find.

Nowadays, nap doesn't help as it used to.

Try using tagDiv Newspaper theme for your requirements. Also, for caching, you may go for LiteSpeed. If you're still confused, then let me know

I am looking for a full-time job. Being independent in open source for 3.5+ years has been wonderful. I've gotten done most of the high-level goals I wanted to, and miss having people & structure around me. If you know of a role for a staff-level TypeScript+web developer, let me know! 🙂

Entrepreneurship at peak

The most duplicable app of 2030? It’s probably being built today. For those wondering what I mean by ‘fast fashion’ in digital world, it’s basically the same idea as clothing!!! Cheap to produce, quick to copy, and often disposable. The vibe coding type tools are the beginning of the end!

I honestly don’t get it when I see people post that they’re going to be replaced by AI or whatever buzzword is trending right now. Just to make myself clear, I didn’t spend years working my ass off, building skills, and making sacrifices just to hand over my seat to a tool. People these days!!!

This AI thing is seriously manipulative!

Syed Laden @syedladen.com · 20/07/2025

Everyone wants feedback. No one wants honesty.

Don’t ask people what they want. Watch what they tolerate. That’s where the truth is!

This morning I found an old draft about trust. It was too careful. Too neat. So I deleted it. Sometimes I think the mess is the whole point.

Syed Laden @syedladen.com · 06/07/2025

I teach people how to build things in public. I also hide half my best ideas out of fear they’ll be stolen before they’re strong enough to defend themselves. How’s that for honest?

Syed Laden @syedladen.com · 05/07/2025

What happens to an idea when you’re too polite to break it? I’ve seen so many good ones die quietly, suffocated by agreement.

They’re slow. They’re cluttered. They make people think. Customers don’t want to think. They want to act. And when they can’t, they bounce. (3/3)

In the physical world, you walk into a store, glance at shelves, feel the lighting, pick up a product, and walk to the cashier. However, in eCommerce, every part of that process must be simulated digitally, and most stores are failing miserably. (2/3)

Why UX matters more than anything else. Because design doesn’t convert, speed alone doesn’t convert. Even discounts don’t convert without a smooth journey. Decisions convert. And great UX makes decisions easier. (1/3)
