Pro: I’ve managed to get a cancellation, so I’m having my finger MRI’d this Friday instead of probably after Christmas. Con: It’s at a stupid private clinic that you literally can’t get to via public transport, so I’m going to have to fork out 30 fucking quid for a taxi to get there.

Today is one of those occasions when I remember one of my absolute favourite amazing-actors-in-a-terrible-film scenarios - both Tim Curry and Sam Rockwell were in the first Charlie’s Angels movie 😄 Curry was camp as Christmas and utterly brilliant, obviously.

It’s a big shock to hear of the passing of Tim Curry. Sometimes it seems I always knew him. He was of course our first King Arthur in Spamalot and opened it in the West End too. He was always our first choice and he helped us by cheerfully recording song demos. A unique talent and a fun pal.

Still contemplating having a long walk to Dance of Death today, but I’ve had a very hurty week so I’ll have to see how I’m doing later on. At least it’s not a ridiculously long one. When I get back to the 80s they’re not going to be very long walks at all, are they? Bloody lightweights.
