dogthingtober 6 - guardian

a heraldic dogthing crest. the crest is flat on top and rounded at bottom, divided in half so it's half green, half yellow. the dogthing on the left is mid-walk and facing towards the right. on the right side are an oak and pine tree, one above the other, with two roundels between the trees, one white, one orange. the bottom middle has a small orange-colored wheat bundle. the entire piece is textured like rough cloth.

shout outs to the therian and/or furry in my psych lobby wearing ears today. i complimented your ears and you (understandably) thought i was doing so to mock you but then you saw my wolf shirt and understood.

huh, you know, speaking of the bluesky bridge re-activating: it seems like my images are loading right over there again. i guess the issue from a while back finally got fixed, along with another bug i was annoyed by (if a user had their posts set to login only i couldn't respond to them). yay

So the personal computer museum I help out at was granted several shipping containers worth of stuff all at once, and will not have enough space or the right displays to preserve all of it at once. If there's any preservation efforts in the new england area that might be interested, my DMs are open.

my website's four year anniversary passed without much fanfare at the end of february. isn't it kind of fun to compare the designs?

the first website layout from july 2022. the color palette is muted green, and the layout has a tall banner and then three columns beneath that. the banner has a graphic of a very long looping cat with its paws outstretched. the text on the banner reads "SWIFTY'S HQ".

a screenshot of a similar layout, featuring darker dull greens. the banner has been made a bit shorter, and features a watercolor drawing of a zigzagoon and a black-furred fox in rosemary bushes.

victim of misdirection #art #furry

a majorly blank drawing with four dull horizontal smudges in the bottom left beneath a falling dogthing. the smudges fade as they go to the right of the image. the dogthing looks worried about the whole thing

is anybody gonna pet the gentle freak? #art #furry

a drawing of a very sad looking creature with bandaging around its ear and waist. text around it is somewhat disorganized, but reads as such, from top to bottom:

... Nobody pet the ...
is anybody going to pet the gentle freak
... the gentle freak is gonna grow sad and anxious if nobody pets it...
is nobody gonna pet the freak... nobody?
... gentle freak? ...

here's an idea of how my concept sheets tend to look when im thumbnailing

three thumbnails on a white background. one is bright green with a dogthing in the corner standing on grass. next to it is a signpost. another is a large white dogthing head on grass with a ladder and smaller, whole-body dogthing climbing up it. the third is green with white lines
