Today, Solstice (my chinchilla and studio mascot) got a new box of goodies. He was very excited! A new box means new “cookies”, rose hips, and sea grass knots and he’s a BIG fan of those 😆

This picture is split in half. In the top half, is my chinchilla, Solstice. He’s all white with little grey/pink ears, a tiny pink nose and light pink paws. He’s at the top of his cage, on a shelf, eating a “cookie” - which is a compressed hay “chip” with a supplement in it.

The bottom half is a box of goodies from Whimsy’s Menagerie. There’s new food, new hay cubes, new sea grass knots, rose hips, and chew toys.

Solstice lives in my studio room, so he’s the unofficial studio mascot!

Got two of my oldest tattoos brought back to life tonight! 🥳 My Hollywood tattoo is 14 years old & my memorial compass for my uncle is 12. They both were losing definition and color. And they got new life! The white will fade down a bit, but the definition should stay for a good while 😌

This shows a side of hand tattoo, and the before and after of inking today. The portion on the hand says “Hollywood” in cursive & black ink, with stars and the silhouette of Tinkerbell flying away from Hollywood down the arm. The top photo shows the fade the tattoo had after 14 years. The bottom photo shows the tattoo brought back to life. Redefined with black ink and with some white highlights to help hold definition, when some of the ink starts to fade, which it will, as hand tattoos don’t always stay the longest.

This shows a compass tattoo on the inner forearm of the right side. The tattoo was 12 years old and had lost a lot of its color, so it was refreshed today, entirely. The black outline was redone, the compass pieces got blue added in. The rose in the middle was brought back to life with bright red ink? With some white highlight, which will fade down to a bit of pink. And the leaves had green added. It sits above a memorial raven, and “love” on the wrist with stars

Little Valentine’s Day Snail 🐌🩷 🧶 Making some of these for Saturday’s pop up event, that my little town is participating in! Very limited quality, as these are very much last minute makes 😅

This is a Valentine’s Day crocheted plushies. It’s has a little peach body, with pink heart antennas, and a pink heart, as the snail’s shell. It’s got black eyebrows, eyes, smiles and pink cheeks. Very kawaii. Very cute.

Well. It’s been a minute. But hello! I am still crocheting! I just got off a back-to-back market season, which ended with the Sci-Fi con! @scifivalleycon.bsky.social I got to give Ruth Connell a finished make and hang out with an owl & some wolves 🐺 In addition to sell some of my finished makes!
