I have a feeling Sticker Fest might be a bust this year because it’s in some strip mall in the middle of October. Last year it was in the park along side a music fest on a beautiful day in Aug. But at least it’s got me making stickers.

RIP Matt Howarth. I think I had seen his comics (Those Annoying Post Bros, Savage Henry) on account of I lived in a town with a decent comic shop, but I'm pretty sure this issue of TMNT was the first time I read one of his comics. That post-Eastman/Laird run introduced me to a lot of cartoonists.

I lived my early life in Irving park. We’d walk to cubs games. My grandma was obsessed with the cubs. You inherit the team you root for. But we’d also he’d down to the south side for a game every so often. So the intense rivalry never made much sense to me.
