Finally watched THE BRIDE!, a movie where from scene to scene my reactions veered between "more movies should be this bananas" and "dear god make it stop." But I loved Maggie Gyllenhaal's directorial debut and will watch whatever she does next so my overriding reaction is respect for the vision.
