I like to trade my seconds for proven players and try to load up on 3rds for picking instead. I've hit on guys like B Rob, Downs, and Tracy bc I had multiple darts to throw. (Plenty of misses too ofc)

It blows my mind that most people playing dynasty don’t realize that 2nd round picks are a sub-25% hit rate (declining from top of the round…) and that beyond the second, you’re throwing darts blindfolded in a hurricane. It’s fun to make picks, but it’s lucrative to trade them.

Prior to 2024, I’m 6 hits out of 14 2nd round picks since 2017… and 4 of 17 3rd round picks… As opposed to 22 hits out of 30 picks in the first…

Off the top of my head, players I've drafted in the second round (in my only league until this year): Terry McLaurin Antonio Gibson Jayden Reed Marvin Mims Puka You play way more than me - am I above average and/or just lucky?

I make a car payment everyday. Even if it’s just the accrued interest or more if I feel I can afford. It sounds weird but….. and every time I make an actual payment it goes towards the principal not interest.

This years addition to the Lego Christmas Village Watch what trades your league mates are making and act accordingly You’ll see who’s feeling out of contention and who’s going for it. Try to be the next to trade with whichever team best suits your teams needs. 🎁

I’ve traded a decent amount of Goff with a small + for Trevor Lawrence and don’t see it backfiring. For example the last one that was accepted was Goff and Josh Palmer for Lawrence #CompetitiveRebuild

By the way, @footballabsurdity.bsky.social does dozens and dozens of real auction mock drafts with real people who take them seriously. Since Twitter was a cesspool we never opened it up to them but since Bluesky seems normal, I'll post about them when the time comes to get your feet wet

Received this offer on a rebuilding roster. What we saying Bluesky? My initial thought is it’s not enough. While Williams was a great prospect, that situation in Chicago looks like it could be rough for a while and Daniels has looked great (as I hoped when drafting him)

My #Dynasty weaknesses/strengths idk you tell me. I’m an agest I love stacks In SF it’s QBs early & often RBs > WRs I defy Fantasy Value #DFTBA don’t forget to be awesome! To be fair I think are strengths can become our weakness if we lean in too hard. What are some of yours?

Interesting little stat nugget. Ja'Marr Chase and Amon-Ra St. Brown are tied for the most targets inside the ten-yard line. The surprising part is that there is a third WR tied with them. Diontae Johnson.

The worst #Dynasty team or situation is the one that’s out of contention but you traded your 1st round pick away. On one hand you need to try and make that 1st as late as possible so you don’t give an early 1st away. The other hand you still need to figure out what went wrong and rebuild
