Mobilizing Alberta, Building Capacity of Climate Action. Mobilizing Alberta is a five-year initiative at UCalgary led by the Office of Sustainability and was undertaken with the financial support from the Government of Canada. Many communities across Southern Alberta are already leading the way in implementing innovative and equitable climate solutions. Mobilizing Alberta aims to strengthen the capacity for advancing climate action across Southern Alberta by: providing grants for climate action projects that bring together community organizations with UCalgary faculty and students; offering a "Preparing Albertans for Climate Change" free e-course; and organizing a series of events open to the campus community and the public to generate climate awareness and inspire action.
