"Guts meets PAWS in a graphic novel about anxiety and agility that will be popular in all graphic novel collections." —School Library Journal GOOD BOY by Andy Hirsch is out today! bit.ly/3YSEUb9
A graphic novel book cover. A young white boy with brown hair is running through a dog agility course with his dog, a yellow dog with a red collar. The boy is wearing a green shirt, brown shorts, and blue converse like sneakers. The title is Good Boy. The author is Andy Hirsch. In the top left corner reads: "Hilarious and heartfelt" - Megan Wagner Lloyd, author of AllergicTwo pages from the graphic novel Good Boy are presented side by side. On the left a dog with brown fur and a white belly and paws runs through a dog agility course while the owner directs him. The owner is wearing a blue tracksuit and has white hair. In order, text boxes read: They've got every right to feel that way. It's a big, busy world, and it keeps on coming... usually without the courtesy to say what's around the corner.

On the right, the same dog and trainer continue through the agility course. Text boxes read: So a dog can feel scared. They can feel unsure and nervous. They can have some trouble. With a little patience though... enough to build a little confidence... and take a little leap...
