I wish ppl in my life could understand that if my ADHD and the way my brain works (or doesn't) is inconvenient for them, it's a whole lot worse having to exist as the person WITH that brain 24/7. I wish I could be different, too.

cannot emphasize enough how much not being able to breathe doing basic WALKING UPHILL makes me want to end it all. So tired of ppl not understanding how completely serious I am when I say I CANNOT BREATHE.

It's actually insane to me how one of the most memorable shows I ever watched, one of my favorite musicals, has like 3 monthly listeners and it's me, my wife, and my sister. Ernest Shackleton Loves Me is literally one of my favorite shows I've ever seen and it's wild how EXTREMELY underrated it is.

I love taking photos and doing cosplay photography, I am glad I get to do it mostly as a hobby more than anything at this point, but I still struggle so badly with not feeling "good enough" ever lmaooooo like to the point where my brain is like "actually never bother taking photos of ppl again"

I like to joke about "winning therapy" but sometimes that feels and looks like this and ends with a "great job today, thank you for sharing all that, that was very brave" but it doesn't actually feel like "winning" when u need a really hot shower to continue to clear ur sinuses

this art got slammed by US readers because she "didn't look Māori" and it's like ... she looks like half my iwi though? this is just what a lot of Kāi Tahu look like? And if I write people who look like this, are US audiences going to say I'm not writing Māori people?

far TMI about my period but I'm so sick of bleeding so heavily every single month. Just bleeding through layers and layers of prevention no matter what. I still haven't practiced enough with the silicone cup and emptying it without it exploding into a fucking crime scene but also would NEED to

I have the week off of work so it's time to do my DragonCon prep which today meant a stash build of Past Pearl which has been a dream cosplay since her reveal and I'm so glad to finally make her happen!!

Mostly full body shot of Cass in their mostly-finished Past Pearl cosplay, arms down and slightly out. They are wigless and smiling.

Shot of the top with the pearl trim added and also shows the skirt underneath it with the waistband now added

Do you know why a president would do all the most evil and heinous shit via Executive Order? Because his party can't easily make it law. And if they can't make it law, they can't make it last. Don't let anyone make you feel like this is The End. Do not let them demoralize you. Live to see them die.

As this "pause" hits you and your project, institution, workplace, etc: TELL SOMEONE ABOUT IT. Contact your MoC, esp if they're a Dem. Contact a relevant advocacy group. Contact the press, local, regional, movement, trade - and not just for an LtE, for a story. Tell real life stories of harm.
