Slightly random project but tangentially related to my VRC Daytona world - I've prototyped an adapter that connects to a SEGA Model 2 board & converts the inputs from a modern racing wheel (or controller) over USB. It even converts wheel force feedback without the drive board!

So initial impressions of the Steam Frame: - It's not a replacement for a modern headset like the BSB - The multi-link streaming is amazing and incredibly low latency. You *can* see compression in some scenes. - No bass on the built-in speakers - Desktop games on the headset is neat

had a amazing night at this event. the shift from 1940's up to the 2000's. was kinda a surreal experience in culture and social acceptance in what was ok from boundary pushing movements during those times. Wanted to stay longer but headset was low and i become tired.

Nineteen years ago today I uploaded my first video. 2007. If I could've told that incredible anxious, hyper-active kid that a silly parody of the Angry Video Game Nerd would actually change his life… Thank you all for watching after all these years, through all the numerous ups and downs

So many times that night I told myself “just stop, don’t do this, you’re just going to embarrass yourself.” I had done little skits with friends and christmas videos but never done anything as complicated as this. It was my first video but I was so hungry to be an entertainer. Ironically, I was actually a very angry and spiteful young man. What kept me going is a need to prove to myself that I could do it. In fact, that’s what I wrote in the description when I uploaded it and I’ve never changed it. And once I found an audience, I never looked back.

I don’t know why, but that first video was preserved two months after the upload! Look at what YouTube used to be!
