I don’t know if I can handle this season of Traitors: Median Voter. Hitting a little close to home.

Is there anyone on here who has both read Canon by Paige Lewis and played Titanium Court by AP Thompson? Is there anyone connection there? It’s wild how similar the vibes are. Just off the charts. Have really enjoyed both.

Very confused I’m 1:40 into the latest @blankcheck.bsky.social and my podcast app is saying there’s 20 minutes remaining. Must be a bug.

Yesssss. I finally beat the Castle Away demo run. Love this game! So excited for the full release.

Boss battle in the Castle Away Demo. A floating castle dressed to the nines takes on a snake demon flanked by wooden helicopters.

I can’t stop merging the guys into bigger guys even if it means I lose the round. Someone send help. And buy this game

Gambonanza really feels like a lot of the juice of Quadradius got pulled into a roguelike. It’s not a 1-1 but it feels like it’s touching the same space.

Spending your productive years on zoom watching your face slowly melt and your hair disappear over the course of years feels like a curse from some sort of fairy tale.

I will never stop singing the praises of this game. A fun and sharp story, and delightful ideas to unlock within.

Absolutely enormous respect to whoever understood that the necessary follow-up to “what if Reacher faced a larger man” is “what if Reacher held a tiny kitten”

Have we considered letting Klob also govern Wisconsin?

This season does feel like the Mariners are trapped in some vortex of Game 5 of the ALDS and Game 7 of the ALCS. Every pitcher is Skubal, every hitter is Springer.

After having played Arcs 5 times and now read through rules 10 times and 3 different YouTube videos. I am excited to finally play Arcs correctly. (This is not a dig at the game, if anything it is a complement that it holds up so well to user error)

I read this way too fast. It’s really good. When Ana said (paraphrasing) “I hate riddles because they’re stupid.” It’s the most seen I’ve felt by a book in a while. 😂😂 12/10

I don’t know if anyone will go see it… but people are definitely talking about Sex Purge.

Hot take here but the size and taste of fruit. What do you mean I can buy an apple the size of my face that has the pure sour and crisp bite of a jolly WarHead.

If you told someone 20 years ago society would be broken by vast quantities of short form video. They would’ve laughed you into oblivion. And yet…

Stu @stuwert.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Legally speaking, the Mariners did win the game.

Hahahhahahahaha the Mariners are going to destroy me.

Biggest frustration about AAA gaming is how much it really seems geared towards a specific type of person who’s done all that stuff. 10 hours into First Light and I’m still stuck at the arms dealer stuff because my brain is bad at fights and picking up whatever yellow painted clues…

the whole thing makes this situation into a binary: your only options are to align with people who make art you don't like and might find a bit annoying but are civilized humans and you could stand to be in the same room as vs. people like Asmongold who are repellent in every single way. easy choice

Burnout sucks. Not the least because recovering from it means dealing with bouts of “I would like to do that” emotionally (goals) but “I know I don’t have the capacity” emotionally (intellectual effort). Le sigh

Kinda related to the whole “can anyone read” convo. One of the points of education is to put people in roughly the same register of complexity of thought (about a topic) together. I.e. it’s ok if your thoughts about Walden are out of pocket in English 101 because everyone else’s are too

Stu @stuwert.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

I think it’s a shame that as the default assumption is you can only learn things related to the central thesis of a text (good/bad, write/wrong), and not learn ancillary things that informed that conclusion. When in fact, those ancillary things are where a lot of the good lies.
