🧵 I don’t think I’ve ever come across documents that told a story about cops covering their tracks so clearly before. The text messages below tell the story better than any exposition. They sent most of these messages less than a day after they’d killed a man in a mental health crisis with AR-15s.

These officers have no place in polite society, let alone serving on a police force.

Company posted a new policy that we cannot use AI to generate an analysis of virtually anything. Combined with other policies we’re basically at don’t use it except to search for sources or to find emails in outlook.

I really do not understand why the rail lines in Seattle seem so unreliable nor why they need to close huge chunks so often.

Yup, the AI people seem to believe skynet is here when the reality is more like this. If we’re all going to die it’s because it’s incapable of not lying

1) The article seems to be almost entirely ai generated trash 2) The nurses actions seem noble and I’m sorry they had to do this versus leaving their patient in the hands of unjust government violence 3) reminder that coworkers are not your friends and IT will always give you up

I still don’t understand why we have to do this (provide the last four of a card number which is extra complicated for virtual/mobile/phone cards) versus just tapping the card on the inspection device like I’ve done everywhere else.
Sign in a bus that says Four Digits. One easy fare check. If you tapped on with a credit card or a credit card in your mobile wallet be prepared to show the last four digits of your card during fare inspection.

I think the main thing that will happen when the sounders who’ve averaged 30-43k per game previously when they move to a 25k stadium is they will charge more per game particularly events because instead of massively increasing capacity it will be limited below today’s average attendance per game

I think the “there’s a train stop there” is so ignorant. If you think it’s just a scheduling issue you have done no work at all. It’s far beyond just “scheduling”

A raised crosswalk shouldn’t need ramps

As a person who interviews people, I never minded people having a beverage and I’m not sure I ever would unless maybe they were late and had a beverage they clearly bought “to go”?

A crazy thing about tariffs to remember when democrats start proposing them again is they basically only serve to drive costs up in exchange for protecting domestic business. You can agree that’s fine but it will drive costs upwards over imports.

Obamacare covers a lot of High Deductible plans which cover $0 outside of “preventative” items (for example an annual physical, wherein if you ask a single question about something it may convert to a real dr visit!) where it is literally cheaper to pay out of pocket sometimes for things

I don’t think my shoes last 30 years or more. A house can last a while particularly if it’s taken care of but even one that’s not taken care of usually lasts a while even if “used daily” (again, unlike shoes)

I went to what appears to be a nice QFC in West Seattle which had no one near the hot or deli case (which were basically run out), I found an out of code sandwich in the cold food bins and when I gave up and decided to caffeine and sugar for lunch they said they don’t sell Red Bull anymore??

Putting up a sign that says there is a bus stop ahead will not do a single thing to fix what happened here and almost made me laugh at loud. Sadly I would bet that’s the most the DOT will do outside of ramble about cops

I’m not really an AI guy because I’m not high 24/7 but I do agree generally that the two leaders seem more likely to be lying to destroy and open source competition and so some good old fashioned regulatory capture then us all being about to die

I think the funny part here is that people will take away the ferry didn’t work since it’s getting cut when it’s the opposite, many runs were entirely full and the problem is worse now. Killing transit that works is just one more way we get cars cars cars

One thing about AI creations is it’s not just images that are easy to tell AI built it. Claude in particular has styles it loves to use. I’d have more confidence people understood or cared to understand the process and accuracy if it didn’t look like it came straight out of AI.

@sound-transit.bsky.social Could you all put up some signage when an escalator is down to exit the station? This is University station, where you don't know the escalator is down until you've walked there. It's a basic courtesy.
Closed up escalator to exit Symphony Station in Seattle, but it's a secret until you spend the extra time walking to it.

Really would be great to have an E/W bus route between West Seattle and SE Seattle that was functional. Really shouldn’t take as long as just going downtown and going into SE from there (honestly, longer)
