This is a truly grotesque "trial" of a vaccine known to be safe and effective. It will in practice randomly withhold that treatment from a percentage of children to see what happens. It is absolutely the reverse of good practice.

Also ignores the fact Sunak (who was obviously a superior candidate) lost a leadership election to Truss. Not exactly an example of "liberalism"

I regularly listen to his podcast (because well useful to hear different opinions) and his views on immigration and particularly on immigration in the UK are, ahem, out there. Obviously his sources are mainly on the American right, or from the Restore-end of UK discourse.

The "to the left of Labour" (G + Ind) got 30% last time. Labour got 49%. 🤷‍♂️ Why do the BBC have on such clueless shills? Or, why do the presenters not challenge such obvious nonsense?

Less than 30% would be terrible, and taken together with Makerfield would show Burnham (at the moment) is able to appeal to both ends of Labour coalition.

another good way of thinking about what cracking value radio 4 is that it makes twenty hours of programming a day - news, drama, comedy, documentaries, a soap opera, arts - for about £90m/yr, while spotify pay joe rogan about £60m/year to listen gullibly to liars for about nine hours per week

Crazy Rupert Lowe has a new angle. Ban folic acid in flour. Follows a mandate that all non-wholemeal wheat flour must be fortified with synthetic folic acid (vitamin B9) by the end of December 2026 to prevent upward of 200 neural tube birth defects including spina bifida and anencephaly each year
The official petition to end the mandatory
fortification of white flour with folic acid
has just hit 100k.

Great news.
