The answer is "the migrants go to Gosport rather than Portsmouth, even though it's logistically idiotic, is because there are still 2 Labour MPs in Portsmouth and none in Gosport"

Maybe this was what Labour were thinking of when they called enjoying a beer far right activity. Oktoberfest at the Drayton Tavern!

What are the new rules in Scotland's supermarkets?
Restrictions are being put on products with high sugar, fat and salt content, but the meal deal lives on.

Not too worried about talk of an early election. Labour are writing the Opposition's campaign material. The pub no longer exists because Labour taxed it to death and your kids hope they earn enough to emigrate when they're older to escape Lucy Powell

I'd have thought Green Party Councillors picketing MP offices calling for them to take a more antisemitic line might be a factor too.

Absolutely nothing is achieved by bringing migrants ashore at Blockhouse except for dumping the problem out of a constituency with a Labour MP into one with a Tory. It's logistically idiotic. Morgan must have "had a word" with his fellow Ministers

Well Corbyn was a Brexiteer too, but he's never been liberal. It's a very silly basis for making any argument in 2026. The real significance of the announcement is that, coupled with the expected removal of Patel, Badenoch has some room to manoeuvre in her reshuffle
