The answer is "the migrants go to Gosport rather than Portsmouth, even though it's logistically idiotic, is because there are still 2 Labour MPs in Portsmouth and none in Gosport"

Maybe this was what Labour were thinking of when they called enjoying a beer far right activity. Oktoberfest at the Drayton Tavern!

Not too worried about talk of an early election. Labour are writing the Opposition's campaign material. The pub no longer exists because Labour taxed it to death and your kids hope they earn enough to emigrate when they're older to escape Lucy Powell

I'd have thought Green Party Councillors picketing MP offices calling for them to take a more antisemitic line might be a factor too.

Bizarre Green Councillor thinks we devote too much land for farming and should build on it

The BBC have issued a clarification and accepted that the Good Law Project monetised the death of Jason Arday

This is actually a fairly mainstream Green Party opinion, IDK why this site is suddenly shocked about the election result

Jodrell Bank, yeah I've heard of that place somewhere. Remember to email your Labour MP to stop the government's cretinous science shutdown www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/art...

Extremely weird and inappropriate AI image used by The News on a piece to promote women's safety. Does the paper still have an editor?

"No drama queens" but also "If you don't like it, join the Lib Dems". Why does Kemi think we lost Winchester and Chichester? Her job was to reunite the Conservative family but it feels like she's put the kids up for adoption

People say print journalism is dying but The News nostalgia section is nailing it with photos of happy times in the past. Who can forget the delights of Gosport in 93?

Nearly forgot the anniversary of this classic. We were shocked to find out Nigel had arrived in Pompey in a Bentley rather than on the bus. He wandered around the fountain in Commercial Rd for five minutes and disappeared. Then this happened!

In today's Telegraph. My view of tumble dryers has always been that they burn money, and if I want to do that I can buy cigars. But I know that is a metropolitan liberal elite POV and hard-working families will suffer because of Miliband's latest nonsense

Interesting that the first DWP Q after Hoyle's statement is on WASPI. Labour MPs have been shamelessly hypocritical about this, and none more so than Stephen Morgan. He is an embarrassment to Pompey.

Not that long ago Starmer was claiming intimate knowledge of the outcome of Mandelson's vetting. PMQs Feb 4th. Sack this liar.

Superb visuals from the Drayton Tavern to promote the arrival of the umpteenth version of Pompey Royal brewed in my lifetime. Look foward to sampling it later

Rail travel is now so slack and slowly-timetabled that a train can leave Brighton 22 minutes late and make up 12 minutes of that by Worthing 11 miles down the track

If you are really concerned about the UK getting dragged into a war, have a word with David Lammy who has unilaterally extended NATO Art 5 protections to a country which isn't even in NATO. This is a government of morons

Hiding from scrutiny, Reeves gave her Budget leak speech to journalists rather than Parliament, but the markets heard the message just the same

Nazis banning Jewish academics from universities didn't work out too well for Nazis or the universities themselves last time.

If the guy who criticised me on Twitter for binning CVs from Goldsmiths graduates on sight has made it over here, do say hi. I think the problem has got a lot wider recently, but Goldsmiths will always have a special place in my bin

Selfie Steve hasn't been sighted by the lads working on Fratton footbridge so much lately. It isn't going to be ready until well into football season. Rest of station has become a 3rd world facility during his time as MP
