Stuart Hedges @stuarthedges.eurosky.social · 9hI do seem to have mis-remembered about 2nd hand though! I've seen that same data in articles under the headline "all EVs" but that's not correct, it is for new cars. The 2nd hand market still has a way to go but there are a couple of Niro/Konas (brilliant cars) for around £8k. 000
Stuart Hedges @stuarthedges.eurosky.social · 10hThis for new: www.autotrader.co.uk/content/news...autotrader.co.ukNew EVs are now cheaper than petrol cars on average – is now the time to buy? | Autotrader 210
Stuart Hedges @stuarthedges.eurosky.social · 10hI don't, but Autotrader do. New (assuming total cost over three years, which is the only sensible way to look at a new car purchase) has been cheaper for some time, second hand caught up earlier this year. 100
Stuart Hedges @stuarthedges.eurosky.social · 11hI know I bore on about this but it's no longer true. Maybe it was until a few years ago but currently an EV is the cheapest way to get on the road. Which sorta proves George's point! 100
