Sputnik Monroe played a heel in the 1950s and realized he could get huge heel heat in the Southern territories when he was seen hanging out with Black people. This made him hugely popular with Black fans who were forced to sit in the balconies at his shows. He'd go hang out with them.

Just an FYI:

PAC is pronounced PACK, not pock. It’s from a nickname his Dad gave him when he was just a boy. Six Pack Ben Satterley

I get it- 2Pac, X-Pac. People have been saying it that way for years. That’s fine. Some will continue to say ‘Pock’ & that’s fine too!

Someone was talking about PAC being stoic at meet & greets on Twitter, so it reminded me of this anecdote.

Small child in red flannel and blue jeans standing next to PAC with long hair, wearing black AEW hoodie and shorts. Both are wearing facemasks.

Nolie met PAC at a Dynamite, when AEW was still doing preshow meet and greets.

They both looked each other up and down. Then PAC stoically says “How is your day, little child?”.

When it was picture time, he plainly said “Stand with me in battle” to Nolie.

It was perfect.
