Had a really great time at forbidden planet Belfast for the day of dredd. Lots of new faces. Lots of people who’d never heard of dredd (!) most went away with a copy of Best if 2000ad (which should be available in every book shop and tescos in the uk).

Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' by The Beatles, except the Fab Four and their cardboard friends have been replaced by Judge Dredd and his impressive gallery of allies and enemies. No, I'm not going to name all of them, and yes, while it is quite possible that the character you really like isn't in there, I make no apology for their absence. Batman, Predator, Alien and The Biker Mice From Mars are all missing because I wanted this to be a tribute to Rebellion.

Just ordered, Gears E Day, from, Bozo’s website. Tenner cheaper, thought, magic. Then at checkout, they dangle things I’ve looked at, that are going cheap. Well I’ve no had a carbon monoxide detector for nearly two years, bit the bullet.
