POV You are Roscoe watching your daughter react to your idiocy throughout the expansions

There are three types of Yuyuka
Stormblood = "I hope you're okay"
Shadowbringers = "Stop falling down the stairs"
Dawntrail = "How'd the ground taste"

Yuyuka: It begins with an L. Like the L word. Roscoe: Lesbians? Alisaie: Lesbians? Roscoe & Alisaie: 🤣 Yuyuka: Lost, guys. We’re lost. 🤦‍♀️

But that’s way too sad and contrary to all her character growth so imagine this is all a bad dream and she wakes up looking like a crying cat meme and then gets cuddles from her family

020

Yuyuka is a lalesbian 🌈 @strixthings.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

She can’t handle losing those connections again. Going back to a life of isolation would literally kill her.

120

Yuyuka is a lalesbian 🌈 @strixthings.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

(Morbid) The outcome depends on if Roscoe (co-WoL) remembers her or not because he’s probably the only thing that can stop her from killing herself after desperation turns to despair

In the Brambleverse, every expansion is approximately a year, and the NPCs GENERALLY age accordingly, but also some of it is pure vibes. And then there's MSQ time shenanigans which makes it weirder. We keep the twins' ages in line with Yuyuka's, which also requires some muddling

Yuyuka is a lalesbian 🌈 @strixthings.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Yuyuka having a moment of "Actually I'm going to survive this no matter what because my loved ones deserve better than my corpse" is absolutely insane. She's very much been operating on "if I die and secure safety for others that's more than enough" for YEARS.

Yuyuka is a lalesbian 🌈 @strixthings.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Girlies do you ever stand in the eye of the storm looking at your friends and have a moment of clarity where you realise your first father was driven by love. That he intended to not die for the realm but to secure your future AND return home. That dying never registered as an option.

Thinking about how Yuyuka letting go of the emergency teleportation device must've looked like she was relapsing into her usual self-destructive martyrdom from an outside perspective but actually it was actually her breaking the habit

Funniest part of the patches leading up to EW is the quiet custody battle for Yuyuka going on between Gridania and The Scions. Gridania keeps trying to call Yuyuka back while she’s dodging her job like the plague by stretching out the “I’m still helping the scions” assignment for as long as possible

Silly low effort doodle of Yuyuka with a flushed face and bug eyed expression. She has a big lipstick kiss mark on her forehead and is wearing Alisaie's jacket like a cloak.

We got familial bonds of the soul. We got Yuyuka getting straight up flayed. We got Roscoe’s lack of internal compass slander. We’ll get Yuyuka (known god hater) being weirdly religious about her girlfriend if I ever lock in enough.

"Wow! Boy oh boy. What a terrible thought, all those awful voidsent getting through. Really, uh, sets my scales a-shiver. Y-yep."

Noctis: It's...a kind of monster.
Kipih Jakkya: From your world, I assume. And it somehow came to be here, in Eorzea...
Kipih Jakkya: I'm no naturalist, but I imagine it being similar to a voidsent.
Kipih Jakkya: And if even a monster such as that could find its way to our world, then surely─surely you can find your way back too!

Saran's face is set in an uncomfortable false smile as she attempts to be nonchalant about the fact that she is secretly a voidsent.
