Why did Disney make the E ticket the best one and the A ticket the worst, when nearly every other letter-based ranking system is the other way around?

The thing that continually blows my mind about all versions of The Traitors is that nearly every contestant is extremely guilty of over-thinking things. You'd think that after watching multiple seasons, future contestants would realize this and try to avoid it themselves. Yet they almost never do.

StrikerObi @strikerobi.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I'm thinking this is why Celeb Traitors UK isn't dropping on Peacock in the US until the season ends. If it dropped alongside the current US season, it'd be very weird for Peacock to be simultaneously running two seasons that apparently are nearly identical versions of each other.

StrikerObi @strikerobi.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

NBC is airing US Traitors "New Blood" (with normal people) while BBC is airing Celeb UK Traitors. Both first episodes revealed the same traitor setup (host picks two, who then pick the third) and the exact same first mission. Will the two shows mirror each other like this all season long?

StrikerObi @strikerobi.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

If you like Celebrity Traitors UK and don’t live there, you must find a way to watch it. Get a VPN or whatever. Do not wait for it to arrive on Peacock. It has already gone completely sideways and you do not want to be spoiled.

My CFP hot take of the day: The AP Poll shouldn't stop rankings at #25. If it's supposed to be a list of "teams that are worth a damn" (which I think it is) then a hard-cap at 25 makes no sense. The cutoff should be a minimum number of votes received, let's say 50, and the list size should fluctuate

This is, I think, one of the best Metroidvanias of the last 15 years and you can EASILY finish it within this timeframe. Hell, you don't even need to feel bad about not paying Ubisoft, because they disbanded the team, anyway!! Also it runs at a (99% consistent) 60 FPS on Switch. Do it do it do it.

On my drive home just now I guess I took a left turn a bit too slow for the guy behind me. He honks his horn, then after I complete the turn he guns it to pass me in the opposing lane, then stops a hundred feet or so later, gets out of his car and shouts something at me to try and start a fight?

This man says he relies on mapping systems to get everywhere, but he also says he doesn't know his home address. So how the heck does he get home if he doesn't know what destination address to enter into the mapping system?

The Switch Virtual Boy is real fun but even with the alternate color options which are less irritating than the OG red, it’s still difficult to play for more than 15-30minutes per session.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but The Vampire Lestat on AMC+ is one of the best series I’ve ever seen. However, you should first watch Interview with the Vampire (two great seasons). The new show’s style and perspective are wildly different, but the characters and storylines are continuous.

Crazy luck at the local thrift this weekend. I found a Turtle Beach Victrix BFG Pro (PS5) controller with the case, dongle and all the swappable parts for just $9.99. It was actually priced at $19.99, but the cashier misread the price tag. These things go for about $200 brand new!

Stock photo of a Victrix BFG Pro for PS5, including the parts you can swap-in.

The only problem with this game is that they make you play so many rounds against bots before you get matched against humans. It takes like 30 minutes. And you have to do it AGAIN for the other multiplayer mode.

Amiibo prices continue to climb to absurd heights. Assuming the game is $70, you're paying a whopping $50 for the amiibo (and the steelbook case). And if the game gets priced at $60, the amiibo is also $60! How on earth does a piece of plastic cost (nearly) as much as an entire fucking game?

Feels like Ocaremake isn't quite the fully blown out, from the ground up FF VII style remake I was hoping for. But it also looks substantially better than the bare-bones, Star Fox style remake where they really didn't adjust the gameplay at all.
