JW Daisies, original Czech title Sedmikrásky (dir: Věra Chytilová, 1966) for the first time. It is possibly the most 1960s thing in any medium ever.

The source of the clip of Romans in Dr Who & the Daleks may be already known, but I couldn't find it online, in Charles Norton's Now On The Big Screen or John Walsh's Official History. I found it by image searches films on Wikipedia's list of films set in ancient Rome. Surely this can't be new info?

The only story that would have been spoiled for me by a leak would have been one about the racism angle to Dot and Bubble. Other things that were leaked - the Toymaker, Sutekh, the Rani - were just fan-lore surprises. The stories would have been the same if they'd been replaced by substitutes.

This would fit with what happens if you order multiple titles: eg, I just received 5 of the 8 discs* I ordered in mid-September. There was plenty of room in the box for the other 3, but they presumably didn't have them to hand. •From the 2 for £16 offer: some titles were more than £16 each!

Publicity still for "Doctor's Daughters", an ATV sitcom from 1981, showing Lesley Duff and Victoria Burgoyne, two young women in early 1980s styles. Their characters were both also doctors, but it was their status as daughters that mattered, as society (or TV writers) required that women must belong to men. As I recall (after 45 years), episode 1 ended with them tearing off their clothes to make bandages. I didn't watch again. And yes, Victoria Burgoyne would have been in Shada.
