Images from a super secret project I’ve been working on for a while. Any guesses as to what it’s about?

This is something I’ve been working on for a long while, helping BDM design the world, the stories and characters. So excited that it’s becoming real.

if you are a serious creator it’s probably a bad idea. This allows users to play with Disney toys and make content. You pay them to make something they own. this will also lessen interest in future Disney projects. Fans will see the latest movie as a “version.”Thoughts?

I just started a Masters in Animation in Ireland. I’ve been going to a ton of life drawing classes reinvigorating my love of drawing for exploration and fun. Here are a few of the most recent sketches. All were done in short 1-10 minute poses.

Dear Disney, Even though you own every single IP I like ( for the most part, I have cancelled my subscirption because you capitulated to Trump and fired Jimmy Kimmel. You are an enemy of freedom of speech and a friend to totalitarianism and I will not give you my money.

Picture of a famous mouse with a line through it to signify dumping disney for their capitulation to a fascist regime.

So here is video from my ipad where I draw a nude from an art class I taught a while back. I'm really trying to pay attention to rythyms and flow in the figure to get the gesture.

PENDULUM (1999) Acrylic on Panel - 11" x 9" At times the light of knowledge seems to only illuminate the negative side of our existence and becomes a burden to the spirit. 1/2

A man stands on an outcrop of rebar in the space between two massive stone walls. In one hand he struggles with a lamp hanging on a long heavy chain while his other grips a rusted piece of metal anchored to the stone facade. Up high and barely visible is a thin line of hazy daylight that he can't see because he's looking down.

A person wearing armor but riddled with arrows, standing before a massive fiery dragon looming overhead. The main colors are yellow, red, and blue.

A warrior looking woman holding a sword, wearing a fur shawl and a horned headpiece, standing in front of a twisted tree. Behind the tree is a massive snarling wolf. Crows are sitting in the tree's branches, as well as the roots. A gravestone marker leans against one of the tree's roots.

So I’m finally getting around to posting these photos from my trip. This is from the interior of the capuchin monastery in Rome. Decorated in human bones. At first, I was a little freaked out until I realized they made these sculptures to speak to the ephemeral nature of life.

Hot take: Watchmen and Dark Knight only resonate when you understand the tropes they are breaking. Otherwise they are just brutal. Their big claim to fame was “ comics have grown up” Using them as examples of what will “get a kid into comics” is exactly what they are not made for.
