Really pleased to see this exploratory work published. We found correlations beteeen sleep and language in children with cleft lip and palate using parent reported data from the Cleft Collective Available open access here - journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/...

It’s Cleft Lip and Palate Awareness week. Cleft can affect how a child learns to speak. Early detection and the dedicated work of a MDT alongside family is needed to help children reach their potential. This leaflet was developed to help spread awareness.

First paper from PhD published today…children with cleft lip/palate were at higher risk of language difficulties if they had phonological errors with or without cleft speech characteristics (CSCs). CSCs alone were not an indicator of lower language skills. Read more here dx.doi.org/10.1111/1460...
