It's another puppet! My husband got me a stop-motion armature kit a few christmases ago, so I thought it'd be fun to make a wee guy based on my No Man's Sky character. And it is fun! But I've also ended up overcomplicating the whole thing, so it's taken a while.

Back on my space chicken bullshit.

Tom got me this incredible @roguehobbies.bsky.social Goblin Knight for Christmas, and I love him. The level of detail on this wee guy is incredible, but also mildly terrifying. If anyone needs me, I'll be painting practice Warhammers for the next while so that I can do him justice.

Today I met Holoptychius, my new favourite fish from a time before thoughts. He's no Sacabambaspis, but he's trying his best.

And So I Watch You From Afar. Immense, joyous noise in a tiny, sweaty basement. Shout out to the brave souls attempting to crowdsurf under the Hug's low, sticky ceiling. 🫡

The band are playing a quiet bit, and the audience are all crouching down for reasons I don't understand. Is this what the kids do at gigs these days? Anyway, it looks like something culty's going on.

The band's bassist, who appears to still be playing whilst having a little crowdsurf. The ceiling is low and full of obstacles (lights, cables, aircon vents), so he's perilously close to braining himself on a lighting rig.

Stranded on Arran for an extra day because it's too windy to run the ferry. It's not all bad, though.

Good news: I've started working on the No Man's Guy again, and finally got the jetpack to print! (It's the wrong way round, but after 5 attempts I'll take it) Bad news: I now have to figure out how to make the lights a) work, and b) fit inside. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated at this time.
