I've retitled this collection The Morgue, being "the remains of proposals that I once cherished and that, like a character in an Edgar Allan Poe story, I still hold too dear to inter." Now added, NAVIGATORS. The complete blueprint of a 10-hour historical epic, stalled and ultimately ended by Covid

We last crossed paths at an event a couple of years ago. He was over from his home in France and looking fit, happy, and at ease with success after a long and varied creative career. I understand he had plans, so the end must have come with little warning. Condolences to Janice and his family 2/2

Sad and surprised to learn of the death in September of crime writer, screenwriter and sometime musician Peter May. Peter and I were among the first clients of Yvonne Heather's startup agency at the end of the 70s, and we met at her wedding 1/2

Chatted to one of the production team some years after the event and she told me that just about every writer in town had taken an uncredited swing at the script, including Frederick Raphael

I should talk more about this book I wrote on head transplant. I mean the ones that happened. In the 70s. In a weird race against the Soviet Union. It came out during Covid. Would kinda love it if the thing went viral. It’s so… weird and true. #BookSky brandyschillace.com/book/mr-humb...
