To be fair to him he has tried to push back but he is not a leader. The greens have become unelectable. All parties need to realise you are not going to win a by-election or election by being ideological. Voters need something tangible.

aisandetsarepeopletoo says: "Apparently Ethiopian Baboons are starting to domesticate wolves, which is giving scientists new insights about what it might have been like when early humans did that. That's cool pretty cool!"

A reply by argumate adds: ""not quite as cool as we thought!" scream scientists, as baboons riding wolves come pouring out of the forest".

I watched the speech on catch up. At points I was clapping. When he thanked Keir Starmer at the start. What a lovely thing to say.

Did you know that a Farage Reform govt intends to scrap the NHS? The private health care system he wants to introduce would cost you £10,000s, like the US, where getting ill can bankrupt you. #ReformUK #Labour #GreenParty #Newcastle #SAFC #NUFC

Did this exact same thing happen when Keir Starmer took over from Jeremy Corbyn? If they are spreading conspiracy theories it means they are clutching at straws.

Rigged polls?? What’s the claim. I have muted a couple of accounts as they were calling Andy Burnham a traitor and want him out … From what I’ve seen so far it is looking like the right decision.

Climate change is accelerating. It’s hard to find definitive info. We are in big trouble and it should be the most important thing we are dealing with and if we don’t the human race is heading for an extinction event.

In the pub last week. The trans woman serving us kept her head down and made no eye contact. Talking to coworker after. Asked if it was just me noticing trans people looking genuinely scared. She said she had noticed. It’s heartbreaking.

🧬 How do we scale biodiversity genomics? In the latest issue of EBP Life, Dr Caroline Howard shares how the Tree of Life Programme is building the infrastructure needed to produce reference genomes at scale. 📖 tinyurl.com/EBPLife #EarthBioGenomeProject #BiodiversityGenomics #Genomics #TreeOfLife

Two computer monitors display laboratory workflow dashboards, with biodiversity illustrations on the wall behind her. Overlaid text reads: "How do we scale biodiversity genomics? 'We cannot do this manually.'" Dr Howard is identified as part of the Tree of Life programme at the Wellcome Sanger Institute.Dr Caroline Howard works at a laboratory bench while holding a labelled sample tube above a rack of orange-capped tubes. As I get older the thing I think is most important to humans as a species is our relationship to one another and to nature. Everything else is secondary. This is fundamental to our survival as individuals and as a species. Call me an old hippy if you like.

"We cannot take that hurt away tonight, but we can put decency back at the heart of the British state, and that is what this bill does." With the Hillsborough Law set to be approved in the Commons, Andy Burnham says he hopes it "ends the cover-up culture" many have faced in the country.

Children shouldn’t use AI until they understand what it is and what it isn’t. It’s being integrated as if it’s a learning tool, when it’s really a productivity tool. Children need to build thinking before outsourcing parts of thinking. Tech literacy before tech dependence.
