Had a great time @bristoluni.bsky.social graduation today seeing the 2026 class of physicists graduate. My first time as staff at one of my students graduations (sorry Lili & Charlotte) & seeing Dr Matt Lodge = #ProudAdvisor. Also, lovely to wear my @exeter.ac.uk gown for the first time in a decade!

A very dense field of tiny, closely packed points of light fills the image. The colour is almost uniform, dominated by bright yellow and gold tones across the entire frame. Small white points appear slightly brighter here and there, with a few faint bluish points scattered among them. No large dark patches or strong colour variations are visible, giving the image a smooth, grain‑like appearance.

Heading to London for the next few days to attend the UK HWO meeting held at UCL. Pretty damn worried about the heat! This is not normal and is not okay. What we are seeing in the UK is just the start of extreme weather due to climate change. It will be worse in El Niño years like 2026.
