My kid (2x transplant recipient) signed up to walk while *IN* the hospital. He said “when I can’t do my cardio, the cardio comes to me.” NKF has played a huge part in his life. I’m proud of him for showing up, just 2 days after being discharged, to give back. www.kidneywalk.org/detroitzoo/R...

One of the most important takeaways when I lecture (for attorneys or clinicians) on kink-affirming risk assessment: Consent is not a defense is many jurisdictions. BUT! The American Law Institute has proposed an “Explicit Prior Permission” change to the model penal code that would address that.
