I’ve wanted to revisit this drawing for a while now. The original was one of the first things I drew in the fandom/digitally and both the way I draw the characters and how I use Procreate has changed a LOT since then! #OFMDfanart #OFMD

A digital drawing of Stede Bonnet and Edward Teach from Our Flag Means Death. Stede is wearing TW’s grey and pink silk jacket with creamy colored trousers and Ed is wearing RO’s black lace dress from the 2023 Met Gala. They’re standing in a golden colored shadowy hotel hallway in front of a reflective wall.

Happy day 1 of #edssensualseptember!!! @edsensualseptember.bsky.social Red + burlesque + silk (it was meant to be lace but sshhh I won't tell if u won't)

A greyscale digital drawing of Ed lounging back on a long curved cough. We're seeing him almost overhead and his feet are closest to the bottom. He's holding a long cigarette very sexily in his right hand that's on the arm of the chair. His left arm is resting on the back of the hair propping up his head. His legs are crossed, the right on the top of the chair and his left on the arm of the chair, he's wearing red stilettos. He's wearing a flowy silt dark red strapless dress that has a v at the front.

They’re in a garden, surrounded by green plants, and flowers (dahlias, sunflowers and sweet peas) Stede is kneeling on the ground and digging a hole for a plant, Ed is reclining in a deck chair, one hand behind his back and a cold drink in his other hand. Tried out a new style (magical anime girl maybe??) for this Stede. Reference from thistle & spire lingerie (very mild NSFW)

Digital drawing of Stede from ofmd modeling some lingerie - it's a bra top, panties, and a corset with stocking, long gloves, and a hat. The colors are teal and peach. Some of his face is covered by the hat.

yes i do have a project hail mary au in my head that I'll probably never write. mostly just deciding who is and what the ed alien looks like. the answer is coral btw. because of the hair and it's kind of like tentacles. stede calls him ed because Er-id. id = ed. are we following.

anything different is good - a gentlebeard arranged marriage time loop fic The day of Prince Stede wedding dawned dim and dreary. So did the next day. And the day after that. archiveofourown.org/works/86146696 #ofmdfic

a mosaic background. three images at the top, combined goofily in three different design styles. they're labeled "gay pirates, arranged marriage, time loop." the title is "anything different is good." subheadings: by CartoonMayor and Rated E | <20k words. Two clip art figures that look byzantine sit in the bottom corners.

i feel like a variation on this meme was probably made four years ago but i still had fun making it today

the "there's only one thing worse than..." "a child!" meme, but with Ed Teach from our flag means death saying, "there's only one thing worse than dying." he reveals the next step which says "Stede dying." izzy hands in the final panel says "Stede." there is a speech bubble in the bottom right corner assumed to be ed saying "no!"

i wanted to write sex lessons pwp but i wanted Ed to be the virginal one so i started working out how this AU would make sense to me and now I'm almost 10k words in, Stede is a cursed seashell button genie, Ed is a possibly demisexual late bloomer, and all they've done is made out.

started a new fic where Ed carries around a gold button that activates when he runs away to sea and Stede is inside like a genie. i don't know either my dudes.

white text on a black background

"Summoned you…?”
“That’s right. I don’t just appear, obviously.”
Ed decided not to say, “Nothing about this is obvious, numbnuts.” He liked Stede too much already to be mean like the other pirates had been teaching him was normal.
“If you don’t mind?” Stede said, reaching out toward Ed. Ed’s nerves fizzled with alarm as he considered what to do. His feet decided for him, sliding cautiously toward Stede. Stede’s smile was small, but it felt fully genuine now. Ed took another sliding step, putting him in reach of Stede’s hand if he’d stretch it out to its full length. But Stede didn’t do that. He just waited patiently for Ed to be the one to get close enough to make contact.
The instant Stede’s fingertips brushed his jaw, glorious relief swept through Ed’s face. He moaned, plunking down on the crate next to Stede.
“Oh my fucking god,” Ed said. “Best curse ever.”
Stede frowned.
“Wait, no, shit, I don’t think you’re a curse—”
Stede waved his hand in the air. “Of course I’m a curse. But I should be gone now, if the bruises are what you needed help with.”
