Oh no. I had no idea who Tony Hinchcliffe was, so my brain substituted Tony Clifton and now the image won't go away
Tony Clifton, a rotund 70s crooner wearing a sparkly yellow tuxedo coat and oversize bow tie. He has dark hair with a mustache, thick sideburns and is wearing opaque sunglasses.
Also, this is actually Andy Kaufman wearing a wig

Or, even more, I miss politicians feeling obligated to campaign in cowboy drag and looking ridiculous
Screencap from failed Colorado 2006 Beauprez for governor campaign. Pictured is an older white guy (Bob) wearing a cowboy hat, canvas barn jacket, jeans and cowboy boots. He's holding a pitchfork and standing outside of a barn or stable.
Most importantly, and much commented on at the time, he is standing next to a saddled reddish brown colored horse. Or rather, since the horse is facing away from the camera, Bob is standing next to the horse's ass

I've never paused that scene to notice the details of his speeder. Did Lucas just raid a playground?
Playground spring rider, pictured indoors. It is a worn gray seal (maybe a shark?) with a saddle on its back and handlebars sticking out of its head, mounted on a big rusty spring. It's wearing a January cap and has a sinister smile. Perfectly suited for providing that little bit of childhood trauma

He's disappointed in his existing brood of failures and wants an heir apparent. Melania said no, but watching a movie with RFK sparked a discussion...
Poster for the movie, Junior. The stars face the viewer with Danny DeVito on the left wearing a stethoscope, holding it to Arnold Schwarzenegger's bulging, very pregnant stomach. Arnie looks shocked and next to him is Emma Thompson, smiling. The legible writing is the stars' names at the top, the tagline "Nothing is inconceivable", and the title centered in the lower middle.

Panel from the Transmetropolitan comic. Spider Jerusalem is slumped on the floor leaning against his home maker matter replicator. He's saying "My household appliance is on drugs. Horrible"
The maker has a separate speech bubble saying "Waagh" because Spider has ripped out the wiring for its hallucination circuitry

Plainsong (2004) Hallmark Hall of Fame tv movie
DVD? cover art with Aidan Quinn wearing glasses in the foreground. Rachel Griffiths is behind him, to his left looking at him with a vaguely amused look. The background is prairie with a very small distant figure of two kids on a horse. Behind everything is the front range of the Rockies

Dude trundled along for years more or less supporting the status quo that made him money. He decided to go all in on the first opportunity for maximum racism, so now he's just a chimpfucker
Page from Transmetropolitan in which Spider Jerusalem is being guided into a convention center. There are five panels with the following dialog:

Y'see that stage there? Buncha years back I designed that, built it m'self, but do they call me Bill the stage builder? Naaa...

Y'see these doors? It was sixteen years ago I fixed them up, but do they call me Bill the handyman? Naaaa...

Wrote these floor guides, but do they call me Bill the Guide? Naaaa...

Hey! Bill Chimpfucker!

Explaining hanky codes
Born in the USA album cover by Bruce Springsteen in which Bruce is pictured shoulders to mid-thigh with bare arms, white t-shirt, black belt decorated with gold metal, blue jeans, and a prominent red rag hanging from his left pocket.
Notably, the classic handkerchief code used through at least the early 1980s indicated that a red hanky in the back pocket signaled a preference for anal fisting

I had so many questions that I looked up the book this illustration is from, The Kaiser's Garland. It didn't help. The next page goes big on pigs, but not on context
Page scan from The Kaiser's Garland with the full page monochrome illustration titled "When The Pigs Begin To Fly" Die Blutwurst
Pictured are several winged pigs, distorted to roughly zeppelin shape, apparently soaring over a city indicated by the few rooftops poking up from the bottom of the page. The pigs have an aggressive number of teats each. Also, there are long, skinny shapes interspersed between the aerial pigs that I think are sausages meant to look like bombs.

I dunno... I'm getting maybe Zack Braff energy? Going only marginally younger, I'd cast a slightly sexed up Kevin Pollack for his very boring biopic.
Black and white picture of seated Chuck Schumer from the late 70s. Dark, tousled hair, with the hairline beginning to recede. He is speaking into a microphone with a shit-eating smirk on his face, or maybe he just has always looked like that.

We had a wood shop class in middle school where we learned the basics about tools and carpentry. The final project was a birdhouse. For decades, every student in the district made one of these useless things. Nobody noticed that those specific skills would be perfect later for making glory holes.
Basic birdhouse attached to a post on the back with a circular hole in the front. Made from unfinished light colored wood (probably pine) boards glued together.

Phil Harding from Time Team. Picture taken at least 20 years agoChoose Your Own Adventure book cover titled: Slonkin' Fat Doinks With A Fuckin Dragon with a picture of a pretty chill looking elderly wizard apparently smoking up with a dragonVintage comics picture of a guy in a conservative red suit, blue fedora and cape being shot by a man in yellow suit and hat. It's signaled by the gun held by the man in yellow being wreathed in smoke and the words Bang! This is a 50s, 60s? Test pattern used to signal that a television had nothing more to broadcast for the day. Instead of the certainly racist Indian head that was usually at the top of the pattern there is some other guy who probably had some significance but I really can't remember

I love Phil Goodstein's longtime walking tours of Denver. Necessarily, he has to lean heavily on pointing out the brothels and speakeasies, but he also makes a point of showing the ongoing shittiness of powerful people. The title of the second volume in his magisterial Denver history shows the tone
