I'm glad to see all the Prequel-haters using her passing as an opportunity to regurgitate their unsolicited opinions of that trilogy. It makes them easy to identify and block.

So many new shows to watch, so little time to do so (in my case), so many spoilers to avoid. 😒 My social media blackout will continue until I can get caught up on Andor and Tales of the Underworld.

I'm also rewatching #TheBadBatch again. It's at least the third time I've done so, but hubby is joining me for this one. It's actually his favorite Star Wars series, though he does like parts of The Clone Wars, too. It's nice to have company for one of these viewings, for a change.

Here we go! #TRoPrewatch, S2:E2 Where the Stars are Strange. One of the things I love most in this series is its depiction of Khazad-Dum. They obviously put a lot of thought into how thousands of Dwarves would sustain themselves in an isolated, mountainous region. The gardens, and how they...

That weird period of time where someone clearly not familiar with metric was generating height stats for characters and we ended up with a 5 foot tall Mon Mothma. This number still shows up. Let's not bring up the tiny Jaina.

Page from the Essential Guide to Characters from the 90s of the Mon Mothma entry that lists her height at 1.5 meters.

To take my mind off reality, I've continued my Sam Hazeldine film festival this week by watching Riot on Redchurch Street & The War Below. The former is a bizarre film that I have no desire to see again, the latter a touching war movie that left me weeping (but I nonetheless watched again tonight).

When I was in grad school (MSLA), I had a professor who required us to start a sketchbook and do at least one drawing in it every day. It's a practice I should resume, and this list serves as an inspiration. I enjoy drawing landscapes, but this provides motivation to hone my skill in drawing people.
