Taking place in Fortnite, X and Zero run into a small shed to get out of the open. Zero heals himself while X checks outside. "Okay, it doesn't seem like we're being followed." Zero stands upright "There's nothing useful here, let's k-" "Here." X interrupting him while shoving a shield potion in his face. "I was saving it just in case. Take it." Zero stares back with a blank expression "No, you should drink it." "Zero, take it." "I'm fine X." "You have no shield!" "Nor do you!" They're progressively getting more annoyed during this back and forth. Glaring each other down as both are being stubborn.

Zero clicks his tongue in annoyance and snatches the jar out of X's hand. "Fine." "Thank you." X says with a fake smile and closed eyes, almost a threatening expression. While Zero drinks the potion, X opens up the map using a panel on his forearm. "There's still some time before the storm shrinks. North seems to-" He is cut off by Zero grabbing the back of his head and pulling him into a kiss, forcing him to drink some of the potion. Zero quickly turns around after to hide his face and starts leaving the shed. "Now we both have shield. Let's move." X, flustered having to hold himself upright by leaning on some barrels in the corner, angrily shouts back. "DON'T ACT NONCHALANT!!!"

Zero looks to X and reassures him, "You've got nothing to be sorry for, X. Vile was built for war from the get-go, he'd get the upper hand on the best of us."
Smiling at X, Zero goes on: "Besides. We all know you still haven't even begun to tap into your fill power yet. The next time we face Vile, you'll send him to the scrap heap for sure."
X's mood has perked up, and he manages a smile, "Yeah...you're right! Thanks, Zero."

you can love a character and still admit when they're wrong. we love Shadow but we can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) and we can hold him accountable for his wrongdoings (he has never done anything wrong in his life) and call him out on his actions (which are always correct)

The #MegaManX Timelines comic is actually pretty good. X is naive but not to a fault, and he's also portrayed as strong and agile. There's some great profile pic material in here. I hope the ongoing comic gets to X6 and portrays Alia this well. It'd be a nice showing for a strong female character.

if you’re doing art requests and someone asks you to draw something you don’t like—assuming that it is benign and nothing crazy like CSAM—either don’t say anything and just draw it or politely decline. for the love of god do not post the request and say publicly how weirded out it makes you
