i do apologize for disappearing. My work schedule was changed so i have no time to draw anymore. (hoping to get my old schedule back at some point) Been so sad not making things, but today i called out sick so i tried to make something! felt very rusty though, wow

saw a pretty art on twitter made by @sshrimpiee.bsky.social i think they were sharing the shield potion kinda like how you share health in kirby. always look out for your teammates! :)

Taking place in Fortnite, X and Zero run into a small shed to get out of the open. Zero heals himself while X checks outside. "Okay, it doesn't seem like we're being followed." Zero stands upright "There's nothing useful here, let's k-" "Here." X interrupting him while shoving a shield potion in his face. "I was saving it just in case. Take it." Zero stares back with a blank expression "No, you should drink it." "Zero, take it." "I'm fine X." "You have no shield!" "Nor do you!" They're progressively getting more annoyed during this back and forth. Glaring each other down as both are being stubborn.

Zero clicks his tongue in annoyance and snatches the jar out of X's hand. "Fine." "Thank you." X says with a fake smile and closed eyes, almost a threatening expression. While Zero drinks the potion, X opens up the map using a panel on his forearm. "There's still some time before the storm shrinks. North seems to-" He is cut off by Zero grabbing the back of his head and pulling him into a kiss, forcing him to drink some of the potion. Zero quickly turns around after to hide his face and starts leaving the shed. "Now we both have shield. Let's move." X, flustered having to hold himself upright by leaning on some barrels in the corner, angrily shouts back. "DON'T ACT NONCHALANT!!!"

broke my daily doodle streak cause i accidentally sprained my ankle yesterday. i put a graphic warning label just in case anyone doesnt want to see a rendition of how i fell lol

Silver, not wearing the usual boots, is walking up an inclined sidewalk while carrying a bag and large binder. He thinks to himself "I never wear slip-on shoes. They're pretty comfortable. I wonder how long they'll last-". The thought is cut off by his right ankle suddenly rolling inward. The last panel is him face down on the ground, the items scattered to the sides and large text saying "K.O."

had to read about bones today. uhhh glowy spine.

had first real day at new job. so much information in trainings, needed to doodle to give my brain a break.

Two blue sticky notes with drawings on top of written notes. The first picture is X excited and innocent to start working with Zero behind him giving a thumbs up in support. The second picture is X falling to his hands and knees crying because he made a mistake. A small Zero plush sits on his right arm crying out to him "Don't give up! It's a lot to learn!".

something simple today. chaos 0 in posca marker, a turtle made with a brush and one with fude pen.

the turtles were lil warm ups. the white marker did not have much left, but thankfully was enough for this.

other things i made before the fraise stuff

sleepy clown plush. its very jingly with the bells. personally i didnt want to add the hair but other people did kinda push it.

polymer clay footprints of our pet turtle. my mother asked for this as a memento. actually managed to get both feet that are missing nails. (when she was given to us they were already missing. the previous owner never noticed apparently.)

markers to the rescue!!! ill add other sealant layers later but the color stayed intact! texture is a bit wonky but thats okay, its handmade so id rather completion than perfection.

ended up coating it again with mod podge to have a base to use the arrtx markers. thankfully applied very smooth.

maybe with multiple thin coats itll smooth out. though since i dont have a sponge there will always be brush strokes.

always feeling i dont make good things, i decided to see what i could manage to make (no digital). used fraise cause hes more likable than my creature. have to take photos of the plushie later so they can post it.

really hope i can save that one. might have to buy acrylic paints for future sculptures.

first time ever painting on canvas. the other piece is made with crayons. numerous stickers (one with some holographic film). and the two plushies which were actually the first things that were made.

tried to seal it with mod podge and it completely ruined the paint job i spent hours on. but trial and error is always part of the process!
