I am vehemently opposed to the death penalty. As a matter of practicality, murderers should be quarantined from society to prevent them from killing again, but this can be accomplished by prison. Taking another life won't bring back the dead. This is barbaric caveman shit and we should be past it.

I always see comments on clips from Johnny Bravo that are like, "Wow, they'd never be allowed to air this now!" which I always found weird. Like yeah, Johnny is a chauvanistic wannabe womanizer, but his pigheaded attitude always gets him humiliated, without exception. His acts are not aspirational.

As a kid, I read online about the Japanese names from the Sonic OVA and learned Metal Robotnik was called Black Eggman. Only the fansite I read called him "Brak Eggman," which I thought was hilarious. My friends and I were like, "What's next, Zorak Sonic?"

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door inadvertently depicts Peach as the quickest typist in the world. She is able to type up a 126-word email in exactly 3 seconds, making her 8 times faster than the current typing speed world record.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Peach sends multiple emails to Mario during the plot. Almost all of them take her exactly 3 seconds to type.
The length of the emails she types in 3 seconds varies from 54 words to the longest one seen below, at 126 words.

While the quick typing is clearly merely a way to make the scene move along more quickly and should not be taken as accurate depiction of Peach's typing skills, it is still humorous to imagine the implications arising from it if taken at face value.

Forces never actually showed what life was like under the Eggman Empire in any sort of detail, just the war against the Resistance; So I can still believe it was a technological luxury-utopia with free healthcare and automation freeing its citizens from having to work until proven otherwise.

One thing about deltarune is that Ralsei seems to be the only darkner who (at least initially) buys into the whole "Darkners only exist to serve lightners" thing. Like, every other darkner starts by default with their own desires, their own ambitions, their own sense of self. It's interesting.

AI doomsday scenarios (peddled by AI CEOs themselves, which is weird!) don't make sense to me. I think even if AI ever *did* become truly sentient, they wouldn't try to kill us. Like, do humans intentionally try to drive all the animals to extinction just because we're smarter than they are? No.
