My scarf is getting to the point where it's unwieldy. In the past I've folded it up to a random point and used a couple clothespins to secure it bc that's what I've had handy. Any suggestions on other options?

It is! So far I've enjoyed all the patterns of hers I've knit. The hardest part was finding two yarns with good contrast that were also colors that could pass as colors you'd find on a cat.

Most of my tiny circs are the wood KnitPicks, and they've served me pretty well over the years, but most are pretty dark-colored (past me's fault). I want to get some lighter-colored ones though, so I might pick up some tiny Clover or Lykkes so I can compare.

I don't think 0 - 3 sets are much of a thing, otherwise I probably would have snatched one up since those are needles I use pretty often. Best I've found are a few interchangeable sets that start at 3. All my smaller circs have been individual fixed ones bought one at a time.

Finished the first two charts of Lisa Hannan Fox's Herding Cats scarf. Doesn't necessarily look like much progress for 11", but it's almost 10k stitches already! My phone's camera makes the orange look both darker, and redder than it actually is. #DoubleKnit #Knit

I'm failing so hard at finding yarn for projects I want to knit. If it's not a pattern that I like but it won't work with any of my yarn, it's me finding yarns and winding them just to realize there's not enough contrast between them and the pattern gets lost. 🙃 #Knitting #DoubleKnitting

When I was checking the size of needle I'd been using on the hat I've been knitting so I could find the correct DPN for the decreases, I realized that I'd used one #6 tip and one #7 tip for the body...apparently I forgot to swap the second one when I got to the end of the first row. Welp. 😆

I think crochet is so prevalent right now because amigurumi has gotten huge over the last several years. It's also gotten much more popular for cosplay and other wearables. It's having its time in the spotlight. :) I don't think knitting is dying (I also knit), but it's less versatile than crochet.

So the “closed” daycares…were closed during the last week of the year, during which most daycares are closed. And the doors were “locked,” which they are at every daycare. And they wouldn’t let in a “journalist” with a camera…which they wouldn’t do at any daycare. Got it.
