I see this and I just always think that the early DS9/entirety of Voyager uniform is the best “24th century” Starfleet uniform, and it’s a shame DS9 swapped it for a less good one.

Toon So a game trying to “emulate” a style like this made nowadays would take, or at least should take a very different approach to this game, nevertheless, it was in its own time an interesting and imo still perfectly workable attempt.

Pendragon This is an old edition, and the new ones are mostly improved AIUI but this is the version I have to hand. A game for being incredibly dedicated to Arthurian myth and its conventions

Mothership! Another one I haven’t tried yet, I like that it’s very informed by “OSR” style but isn’t closely derived from D&D the GM material (in the Warden’s Operation Manual) has some interesting stuff on both structure of horror & NPC disposition. Very bleak corporate space future.

Exalted: Essence Not, by any means, a rules light game but less dense and much more compact than any of the 3 “full” editions of Exalted, and at a level I feel like would be manageable at my table. I’ve long loved Exalted’s ridiculously baroque setting so I hope to see this at table.
