Been listening to Bowie's Ziggy Stardust album a lot this week, and every listen blows me away on how succinct he was at talking about ageism in his industry, how earnest respect for someone's art can become fanaticism, and his thoughts on critique all while managing to make a fun-as-hell album.

He even touches on subjects like the male-centered "pick me" who will gladly harm other women if suits the men she seeks proximity to, how sexism makes it so all women will bear the brunt of criticism for the bad actions of the few. I love seeing it in classic literature, I wish it wasn't relevant.
