Now IMO after a time it makes sense if fans have a cut-off on what they accept as canonical because retcons that break rather than bend established lore are not mere updates of audience information especially as original creator and circles drop from involvement unable to give their blessing or not.

I'd much rather people made media literacy an educational priority. Because over the last 25 years governments have enacted policies that at superficial glance look "good" "in theory" but by design trample on the rights of citizens both on a national and international level when put into action.

I'd just like to point out a handful of decently known acts could possibly form a line up, rent 2 side by side fallow fields from a farmer, and crowdfund themselves a mini-festival in this day and age with surprising ease. Almost a build it and they will come basis because tbh people love festivals.

I saw an ad on someone's tv recently that had "generated actors" and tbh if a company is cutting corners by not paying actual actors and animators then it makes you wonder if they're cutting corners in other areas including things like safety standards. 🙄

I don't think you can blame yourself for that tbh, it's pretty dubious for them to advertise a place to sleep but provide a room that's environmentally adversary to sleeping for most people. Because by regulation hallways need fire exit lights but rooms don't (see Premier Inn rooms for example).

Thanks for reminding me to pack 4 push-pins and a folded sheet of A3 card at the bottom of my travel bag next time I'm staying somewhere. IMO BnB's and non-chains have a more natural feel but most urban hotels feel barely-better than a stay on a hospital ward.

Absolutely, the idea that "most people have a smartphone (or even one where the OS is still updated)" doesn't excuse excluding and discriminating those that don't bc there should always be alternative access for services open to the general public. In this case something like manual code entry, etc.
